Marquez clinches breath–taking pole in Argentina

Two times MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez stamped his authority by clinching a blistering pole with stunning fast lap denying Suzuki their maiden return pole.

Suzuki, returned to MotoGP after a gap of 3years almost grabbed pole with rider Aleix Espargaro who was fastest on the earlier sessions only to be beaten by the young world champion Marc Marquez.

Ducati´s Andrea Iannone took the final front row spot beating Cal Crtuchlow on the satellite Honda. Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha) came 5th fastest ahead of Andrea Dovizioso on the other factory Ducati.

Danillo Petrucci on the satellite Ducati came in 7th while Yamaha´s Valentino Ross managed only 8th quickest.

Maverick VInales brought his second factory Suzuki inside top10 in 9th ahead of Bradely Smith on the satellite Yamaha in 10th.
